Hello! My name is Kristin AuCoin, and I’m thrilled to be one of the Co-Presidents of Queen’s Law Cancer Society this year.
I am originally from Toronto, and completed my Honours BA in Psychology at the University of Guelph. I have done a lot of volunteer work in the health care field, including volunteering at a Toronto hospital for 1 year and volunteering at a number of charity events. Cancer research and awareness is particularly close to my heart, as my family has been personally affected multiple times. Therefore, it’s an honour for me to be part of QLCS.
Last year I was part of QLCS Sponsorship Committee, helped run Cabaret, and participated in all the QLCS events. I can honestly say participating with QLCS was one of the highlights of my first year of law school. After only 1 year at QL, I couldn’t be more impressed with QL’s sense of community and eagerness to get involved with such a great cause. This year’s QLCS executive team hopes to take advantage of that commitment in order to live up to the huge success last year was for QLCS. If you have any questions or want to get involved, please feel free to reach out to me!
